Welcome to Onetenth. It works exactly like the picture says: upload a setup, browse everyone else's, download what you like. The simple bit was deciding that. The hard bit was making sure what people upload is safe to download.

PDFs, they can carry scripts, hidden links, embedded files and forms, and the worst ones are built to exploit the software that opens them. So nothing you upload is kept as it was sent. Every file is flattened into a brand-new image. Only the picture comes through, and anything hidden inside the original stays behind.

Photos lose their baggage too. All the metadata goes, including GPS location, make and model, camera settings, and sometimes a thumbnail of the original from before you cropped it.

To keep things quick, images are also resized and compressed, so a 12MB photo off your phone doesn't take a minute to load at the track. That does cost a bit of quality. Setup sheets should still be easy to read, but small handwriting or faint pencil can suffer. It's a beta, so we're still tuning the balance between file size and sharpness. If something you've uploaded comes out hard to read, tell us.

Once it's live, your setup can be found by searching for a driver, brand, track or surface.

So you can see what's popular, setup downloads are counted into a weekly, monthly and yearly Top 10. I've done what I can to keep bots and crawlers out, so the numbers should be pretty accurate. And no, spamming download on your own setup won't help. It only counts once :)

If you've made it this far without falling asleep, you're either properly keen or properly bored. Either way, you're exactly who this is for. Go upload a setup, maybe have a look at what everyone else is running or at least make your profile into your race colours.. If something doesn’t work please tell us
