Abe's dad, Pete Lyons, was chasing a different kind of gains this weekend. Here's what he had to say:
"We changed the front links to the shorter position, A, with the middle hole at the hub, to sharpen up the steering response. We then balanced that slightly by adding 1mm under the front inner link, making it 4mm instead of 3mm."
"On the rear, we went to a longer link position using the inboard position, to let the rear roll more and follow the front. Other than that, the car was pretty good."
Fuelled by Costa and a dream, Abe had this to say:
"For me, the car was brilliant all day, I qualified 4th, and I can't lie after a nerve wracking final.. I managed to take the Win of the meeting. 🥇 I'm really pleased to have taken the W of this event, as its been a club I've been going to ever since I was small, so this one is quite special..
